All to often company's find themselves open to problems when something goes wrong. An unfautunate employee has an accident and an investigation concludes that there was not a Safe Operating Procedure (SOP) in place for the task the employee was carrying out. The Health & Safety at work Act 1974, LOLER 98 & PUWER 98 are just a few of the many H S E regulations that a company can find themselves in breach of.
Train The Trainer UK analises a work activity breaking it down into it's smallest components and then produces a Safe Operating Procedure (SOP) for that activity. We do this with the trainee In-House Instructor who usualy has knowledge of the task been carried out and together the Trainer and trainee compile a Risk Assessment of the activity. The Trainer and Trainee then work together to produce a detailed Lesson Plan of how the activity can safely be carried out. Should another employee need to be taught the task, the Lesson Plan can be used by the In-House Instructor whenever the need arises to teach other employees the safe and correct way to perform the task. Safe Operating Procedures for other tasks can also be created by the in-house instructor using the methods taught during instructor training.
